Signify, the global leader in lighting, has successfully illuminated 55 villages in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur District through its ‘Har Gaon Roshan’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. This impactful project, executed in collaboration with the NGO Haritika, benefits over 70,000 residents by installing 2,000 energy-efficient LED streetlights, 700 solar home lighting systems, and 100 solar streetlights. Aimed at enhancing women’s safety, promoting tourism, and fostering socio-economic development, the initiative underscores Signify’s commitment to leveraging sustainable lighting solutions to create a safer environment. Nikhil Gupta, the Head of Marketing and CSR at Signify Greater India, emphasized the transformative potential of light in uplifting communities.
