The K Street corridor in Sacramento is set to sparkle with new marquee-style LED lights, with 38 poles receiving installations aimed at enhancing the area’s vibrant social scene. Scott Ford, deputy director of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, noted that the project reflects K Street’s rich history and aims to boost pedestrian activity and safety. The programmable lights will allow for dynamic displays tailored to seasons and events, such as the Sacramento Kings’ games, promoting the corridor as a central hub for entertainment. Crews began installation this week, with the lights expected to be operational by the end of the month, further revitalizing the evolving entertainment landscape in the city.
