Caymus Equity Partners LLC, an Atlanta-based private equity firm, has announced the acquisition of Valley Lighting, LLC, a commercial lighting and shading solutions provider headquartered in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. The deal, completed in collaboration with Valley’s CEO Kathy Deppe and Executive Vice President Tommy Jones—who will retain significant ownership and continue to lead the company—positions Valley to expand its services across the Mid-Atlantic. Known for its customer-centric approach, Valley specializes in complex commercial construction projects in resilient sectors such as healthcare, education, government, and data centers. This investment marks Caymus Equity’s sixteenth platform investment and is backed by several financial partners aimed at supporting Valley’s growth and geographic expansion.
