The New Gisborne tennis Club has completed a significant lighting upgrade, enhancing opportunities for night-time tennis matches and community participation. The project, officially celebrated by Macedon Ranges Shire Mayor Dom Bonanno, Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas, and local representatives, received a $170,000 funding boost from the Victorian Government’s Regional Community sports Infrastructure Fund alongside a $121,000 contribution from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council. The installation of high-quality LED lights at Courts 1 and 2, which began in November 2024 and concluded in April 2025, promises brighter and safer conditions for players. Mayor Bonanno emphasized the initiative as a collaborative effort to promote more inclusive and active communities.
