On May 23, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), expressed pride in supporting the conservation of Olive Ridley turtles, whose population is flourishing in Odisha. Celebrating World turtle Day, he highlighted record nesting numbers at Gahirmatha beach and detailed various conservation measures implemented by the company, including the installation of dark sky lighting, provision of trawlers for patrolling during migration, and community education on marine ecosystem protection. The Adani Group has committed ₹30 crore to these efforts, emphasizing their dedication to safeguarding this vulnerable species and its habitat for future generations.
