Everlight Boosts LED Lighting Sales Across Mainland China

Everlight has secured multiple LED streetlight contracts across several Chinese provinces, including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Sichuan, and Hebei, capitalizing on the government’s subsidy programs for LED lighting. The company, led by Chairman Y.F. Yeh, sees a substantial business opportunity in Jiangsu, where contracts amount to RMB 6 billion (approximately US$952 million) for LED streetlights. A joint venture has been established to penetrate this market, aiming to install 20,000 LED streetlights by the end of 2012 with a target market share of 50%. Additionally, Everlight has launched Taiwan’s first LED streetlight that meets both local and mainland Chinese standards, reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation in LED lighting solutions.
