East Hartford Enhances Public Lighting with LED Streetlight Upgrade
Pixelligent Technologies has been awarded a $1.25 million grant from the Department of Energy (DOE) to further develop its OLED lighting applications, in partnership with OLEDWorks. This marks the second award the companies have received for their innovative work in solid-state lighting, highlighting their leadership in creating advanced materials for OLED technology. The project aims to enhance the light extraction efficiency of OLED devices by over 200% while maintaining their performance. Congressman Ruppersberger commended the grant as a vital investment in U.S. manufacturing and innovation, noting its positive impact on local jobs in Baltimore, where Pixelligent is based.
