Napier Residence, Renowned for Holiday Lights, Unveils Matariki Showcase
Mark Williams has transformed his home in Napier into a stunning Matariki-themed light display, featuring nine stars that represent the Matariki constellation alongside additional stars in his garden. The installation will illuminate nightly from 5 PM to 10 PM until July 13, aiming to educate visitors about Matariki while attracting large crowds similar to his traditional Christmas displays. Williams expressed his hope that this initiative could become a cherished community tradition, especially for families looking for evening outings. Additionally, he wishes to support a fundraising campaign for Trinity Hutchins, a young girl in need of significant medical surgery, by encouraging donations during his light show.
