Orion Energy Systems, Inc. has released its Form 10-K report for fiscal 2025, revealing a total revenue of $79.7 million, a 12% decrease from the previous year, largely due to the conclusion of a significant government retrofit project and non-renewed maintenance contracts. Gross profit improved slightly to $20.2 million, or 25.4% of revenue, driven by better margins in the maintenance sector. The company reported a loss from operations of $(10.6) million, a minor improvement over last year, while net loss remained stable at $(11.8) million. Orion, which operates primarily in North America, is focusing on expanding its LED lighting and electric vehicle (EV) charging segments, including enhancing its infrastructure through the acquisition of Voltrek. Despite challenges in maintaining competitive margins and risks associated with customer reliance and supply chains, the company is strategizing to enhance its service offerings and operational efficiency, with a new ERP system set to launch in fiscal 2027.
