An extraordinary celestial event is currently captivating stargazers, as two bright novas—V462 Lupi and V572 Velorum—are visible to the naked eye from parts of Texas, Florida, and Louisiana. These stellar phenomena, caused by thermonuclear eruptions, shine brightly for weeks before fading back to their original state.
