In a recent promotion meeting organized by the Beijing Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Center, Shukui Bing, vice president of the China Illuminating Engineering Society, emphasized the importance of implementing “lighting on demand” in public construction sectors like underground garages, corridors, and stairwells. Utilizing radar microwave technology, intelligent LED lights can adjust brightness based on occupancy, significantly reducing energy consumption. Studies from Hebei Province highlight a remarkable 90.3% energy saving after replacing traditional lamps with LED fixtures, leading to annual savings of 127,600 kWh and reducing carbon emissions by 127.3 tons.
