Lumissil Microsystems Enhances Automotive Lighting Lineup with New High-Side Linear LED Driver Series

Lumissil Microsystems has launched the IS32LT315x family of current-source linear LED drivers designed for automotive lighting, including Tail/Brake light combinations. This product line features single-channel and triple-channel variants, offering enhanced thermal optimization and fault reporting capabilities tailored for high-power applications. Key features include adjustable output currents, LED short detection, and safety compliance with AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262 ASIL-B standards. The drivers support a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 40V, making them suitable for various automotive environments. Lumissil’s VP of Marketing, Lyn Zastrow, emphasized that the IS32LT315x series is engineered for efficient thermal management and safety without compromises. Availability includes multiple packaging options, with specialized copper wire bonding to improve performance.
