Primark Partners with Apollo3D for Virtual Scans in LED Lighting Enhancement

Apollo3D has successfully created immersive 3D virtual tours, or digital twins, of all Primark’s UK and European stores, enabling contractors and project teams to conduct remote assessments with high accuracy. Following a pilot scan in Leeds in 2021, Apollo3D has now scanned over 350 locations, significantly reducing survey time by more than 80% and streamlining project timelines. The scans have facilitated upgrades including the installation of Click & Collect desks and self-service checkouts. Mark Shepherd, Managing Director of Apollo3D, emphasized the transformative potential of virtual mapping in modern infrastructure management. Meanwhile, the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards, celebrating technological advancements in retail, are now open for entries, highlighting the importance of innovation in achieving operational efficiency and sustainability across various sectors.
