NVIDIA and Intel Announce New Executive Appointments in AI Sector

In a significant shake-up within the tech industry, both NVIDIA and Intel have announced major leadership changes aimed at enhancing their strategic focus on artificial intelligence (AI). NVIDIA has welcomed AI experts Banghua Zhu and Jiantao Jiao to its team, both bringing impressive credentials from prestigious universities, and will work on advanced AI projects, particularly within the Star Nemotron team. Meanwhile, Intel’s Chief Strategy Officer, Safroadu Yeboah-Amankwah, will depart at the end of June, following a restructuring led by new CEO Lip-Bu Tan. This transition will see Sachin Katti, now Chief Technology and AI Officer, absorb part of Yeboah-Amankwah’s responsibilities as Intel pivots toward AI-specific chips and advanced technologies to strengthen its competitive position against rivals like NVIDIA and AMD.
