The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, set to take place from July 23 to August 2, 2026, have unveiled a compact 10-day schedule featuring 30 medal sessions across 50 sporting events. With 3,000 athletes from 74 nations competing in 10 sports and six Para sports, over 200 medals will be awarded at iconic venues such as the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and Tollcross International Swimming Pool. Notably, the Games will commence with the first medal awarded in Para Powerlifting, marking a historic moment for Para sports. The schedule also includes expanded programs in several sports, with the return of the iconic Commonwealth Mile in athletics. Glasgow 2026 promises a thrilling experience for fans, culminating in a dramatic finale on August 2. A national advertising campaign has also been launched to promote the event across the UK.
