Brightgreen has unveiled its new DR700 v2 MR16 LED bulbs, designed to replace traditional halogen bulbs in its retrofit range. These advanced bulbs feature enhanced optics, a sleek design, and an impressive dimming capability, all while maintaining a compact size for easier installation in tight spaces. With a power consumption of just 10.5 watts, the DR700 v2 delivers the same brightness as a 50-watt halogen bulb, consuming only 20% of the energy. Users can recoup their investment within 14 months based on daily use, with even quicker payback for residents in NSW and Victoria due to local energy efficiency schemes. The bulb is compatible with various dimming systems and offers beam angles of 40° or 60° and color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K. Highlighting its commitment to energy efficiency, the DR700 has received an award from the United Nations Association of Australia.
