Goold Estates has appointed Caddick Construction as the main contractor for the £28 million Foundry business Park project in Bilston, which will provide 166,500 sq ft of modern urban logistics and industrial space. This initiative, part of Wolverhampton Council’s Bilston Urban Village development, is expected to create up to 330 jobs and is supported by a £12.5 million investment from the West Midlands Combined Authority. The project aims to transform a long-vacant brownfield site, incorporating sustainable features like LED lighting and electric vehicle charging stations, with completion anticipated by spring 2026. Local leaders praise the development for its potential to drive economic growth and enhance job opportunities in the area.
