Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. has successfully completed its acquisition of Value Lighting Inc., a leading supplier of lighting solutions for the multifamily residential sector, based in Marietta, GA. The purchase involved a total payment of approximately $38.6 million, consisting of $10.5 million in cash and $28.1 million in stock. Value Lighting, which generated revenues of $43 million in 2013 and expects $55 million in 2014, will provide Revolution Lighting with enhanced access to the growing market for sustainable LED lighting solutions. The acquisition is anticipated to create significant synergies and distribution opportunities, as both companies aim to capitalize on increasing demand for energy-efficient lighting solutions in residential buildings.
