New Partnership Established to Improve Player and Fan Experience with Innovative Lighting Solutions
On August 15, 2025, the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) announced a new partnership with Musco Lighting as its Official and Exclusive sports Lighting Provider. This collaboration aims to enhance the experiences of student-athletes and fans at member schools by improving on-field safety, gameday atmosphere, and the overall longevity of lighting systems. Musco Lighting will provide educational programming and free on-site lighting audits to help schools assess and optimize their existing lighting. IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson emphasized the importance of this partnership in establishing lighting standards that ensure safe competition, while Musco’s representative Brent Castle highlighted the commitment to creating safer sports facilities for athletes across all levels.
