Wesco Appoints Daniel Castillo as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Electrical and Electronic Solutions

Wesco International has announced the appointment of Daniel “Danny” Castillo as the new Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Electrical and Electronic Solutions (EES) unit, effective September 1, 2025. Castillo will succeed Nelson Squires, who is retiring at the end of September. With extensive leadership experience from companies such as Brinks, JELD-WEN, and Cree Lighting, Castillo is expected to enhance Wesco’s positive momentum in the EES sector, which has seen a 6% sales increase year-over-year. Chairman and CEO John Engel praised Castillo’s track record in driving profitable growth and acknowledged Squires’ contributions over the last decade.
