In Duluth, preparations for the 2025 Bentleyville holiday season are underway, with the installation of a spectacular 128-foot LED Christmas tree commencing on October 4. Weighing 17 tons and adorned with 150,000 lights, the tree will be a centerpiece at Bayfront Festival Park as staff test the lights ahead of the festivities. Bentleyville will open for its 22nd season on November 22, running through December 27, with extended hours on weekends. To kick off the season, a “Red Kettle Karnival” will be held on November 5, encouraging attendees to contribute to the Salvation Army. Volunteers can sign up to assist with preparations via Bentleyville’s website.
