Burlington, MA is set to enhance its recreational facilities with the addition of four new turf fields following the approval of a $6.72 million warrant article at last year’s Town Meeting. The Field Subcommittee is now presenting its recommendations to the School Committee, which include features such as an accessible walkway, LED lighting, and scoreboards. The allocated funds will support the development of athletic fields at Marshall Simonds Middle School, aiming to improve the community’s sporting infrastructure.
