Funded in part by a $162,150.49 incentive from the Tennessee Valley Authority’s EnergyRight program, the improvements aim to create a safer and more vibrant environment for fans, athletes, and staff. The upgrades are expected to be completed by late September, reflecting the university’s commitment to sustainability and fiscal responsibility. Brian Shipp, Director of Facilities, emphasized the immediate benefits for fans and the long-term cost savings for the university.
