Interstellar Lab has partnered with Vast to integrate its plant growth chamber, Eden 1.0, into the Haven-1 Lab, the first commercial microgravity research platform on a space station, set to launch no earlier than May 2026. Eden 1.0 is a fully automated greenhouse designed for studying plant growth in microgravity, utilizing real-time data collection to assess the impact of low gravity on plants. This collaboration aims to advance research in various fields, including cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, ultimately benefiting crop resilience on Earth. With innovative features and AI-driven operations, Eden 1.0 represents a significant step towards sustainable space agriculture and bioregenerative life support systems for future human habitats on the Moon and Mars.
