Staffordshire Council’s cabinet has approved a new initiative that will replace 15,000 older orange streetlights with energy-efficient LED lights, projected to save £1.2 million annually in energy costs. This £4.9 million investment is part of the council’s Invest to Save programme, which focuses on enhancing public safety and reducing energy expenses.
