CJ ENM Launches New Label, Light StoryHouse, Dedicated to Asian Projects

Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM has announced the launch of First Light StoryHouse, a new label dedicated to developing film and scripted TV projects by creators of Asian descent for a global audience. The label is spearheaded by CJ Group vice-chairwoman Miky Lee, former Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Janet Yang, and East West Bank CEO Dominic Ng. Managed by Jerry Kyoungboum Ko, First Light StoryHouse aims to elevate underrepresented Asian narratives in Hollywood and worldwide, celebrating diverse experiences. The initiative will involve strategic development partnerships and co-producing efforts, with a focus on harnessing the potential of Asian storytelling to bridge cultural divides.
