Coaldale Public Library Introduces New Indoor Lighting

Coaldale Public Library has upgraded its indoor lighting thanks to a $23,100 grant from the Government of Alberta’s Community Energy Conservation program. The grant facilitated the replacement of outdated fluorescent lights with energy-efficient LED fixtures, enhancing the library’s environment. Community Services Operations Manager Scott Boyd highlighted that the new lighting not only conserves energy but also improves visual comfort, reducing eye strain for patrons.
