Company Seeks CSML’s Assistance to Resolve LED Light Concerns

In a recent Kochi Corporation Council meeting, Mayor M. Anilkumar addressed concerns regarding dysfunctional LED lights, highlighting persistent issues stemming from maintenance failures by Cochin Smart Mission Limited (CSML). The Mayor acknowledged complaints from councillors about the inadequacy of CSML’s maintenance efforts since the lights’ relocation, which was contracted for ₹40 crore. He pledged to communicate these grievances to CSML, emphasizing the inconvenience faced by residents who must navigate multiple agencies for repairs. Additionally, Anilkumar discussed property tax collections, stating that most residents have complied with payments, while addressing allegations of unequal treatment in tax enforcement.
