Despite Multiple Lighting Delays, Nebraska Softball Secures Shutout Victory Against Maryland

In a challenging match at Bowlin stadium, the No. 20 Nebraska softball team triumphed over Maryland with a 6-0 shutout, despite facing multiple weather delays due to nearby lightning. The victory improves Nebraska’s record to 36-12 overall and 15-5 in the Big Ten, placing them in third in the conference standings. Hannah Camenzind set the pace with a double and a home run, while Jordy Bahl delivered a stellar performance in the circle, improving her record to 21-5 with seven innings of shutout pitching.
