Dongfeng Nissan recently held a technology press conference where they announced the upcoming presales of the Dongfeng Nissan N7, set to begin in April. The company plans to launch five new energy vehicle models by the end of 2026, including options for pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and range-extended powertrains. In a significant investment for the Chinese market, Dongfeng Nissan will allocate 10 billion RMB toward research and development, expanding their R&D team to 4,000 members. Notably, they introduced the all-new Tianyan architecture, compatible with various powertrains and equipped with an advanced electric drive system capable of rapid recharging. The N7 features innovative technologies, including a coupled thermal management system and AI-assisted functionalities for smart driving. Its exterior design incorporates advanced lighting systems and sleek design elements, while interior features prioritize comfort and integrate cutting-edge infotainment options with AI assistance. The N7 will be powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery, offering a peak power of 200kW.
