Encore Energy Group Finalizes LED Lighting Upgrade for Elizabeth Properties
Encore Energy Group has successfully completed a three-building LED retrofit for East Coast Warehouse & Distribution in Elizabeth, New Jersey, which is projected to save over $225,000 annually on energy costs while incurring virtually no upfront expenses for the client. The upgrade involved replacing more than 1,850 outdated fixtures with high-efficiency LEDs, facilitated through a rebate-backed model and Encore’s Trade Ally status, which streamlined the process and managed utility communications. The phased project, which began in late 2024 and concluded in spring 2025, allowed for continuous warehouse operations, improving both lighting quality and energy efficiency across the facilities. Jesse Gross, senior director of facilities, praised Encore’s seamless approach, highlighting the immediate benefits in energy savings and operational efficiency.
