Ferris Wheel Returns to Brookfield Zoo

Brookfield Zoo in Chicago is drawing visitors with the return of its Ferris wheel, which runs through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. The 110-foot wheel features 24 colorful gondolas and offers a five- to seven-minute ride showcasing views of the zoo and the Chicago skyline. Riders must be at least 32 inches tall to ride with a companion, while those 42 inches and taller can ride alone, with tickets priced at $8 for all ages. The zoo operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and until 6 p.m. on weekends.
