Florida Power and Light brightened the Fort Myers Beach Fire Station 33 with thousands of energy-efficient LED lights and solar-powered decorations as part of a holiday initiative. This effort, which took place last Friday, aims to honor the resilience and dedication of first responders who supported the community during hurricanes Helene and Milton. Fire Chief Scott Wirth highlighted the collaboration, noting that volunteers and a bucket truck were instrumental in decorating the station to recognize these heroes during the festive season.
