Fresno’s Rotary East Park Unveils Exciting New Pickleball Courts for Enthusiasts

The City of Fresno celebrated the grand opening of its first dedicated pickleball courts at Rotary East Park on Wednesday, marking a significant addition to the Fresno PARCS system. The project, which broke ground in March, features eight courts equipped with sports lighting for play at any time. Key figures at the event included Mayor Jerry Dyer and representatives from local parks and recreation, as well as Fresno City officials. Community members can enjoy drop-in play during July, with reservations available starting in August. The development was partially funded by Measure P resources.
