Fujitsu Semiconductor has unveiled a new series of 8-bit microcontrollers, the MB95F430 MCUs, designed for control systems in lighting and industrial applications, including LED ballasts and power tools. These microcontrollers feature embedded flash memory with dual operation capabilities, supporting up to 100,000 erase cycles and offering 20-year data retention, making them suitable for replacing external EEPROM. Additionally, they include four built-in analog voltage comparators and an operational amplifier, and are equipped with an on-chip debug module for software development. The MCUs come in 32-pin LQFP packages, with memory options ranging from 8kB flash and 240B RAM to 20kB flash and 496B RAM.
