Glamox has secured contracts to provide LED lighting for the turbine foundation transition pieces of the 495 MW Fengmiao 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan, developed by Copenhagen Offshore Partners for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. The company will supply approximately 920 marine-certified LED luminaires, including 35 RLX C floodlights and 884 MIR G2 WOF luminaires, all designed to last 100,000 hours at 45°C and equipped with three-hour battery backup. The lighting is set for delivery in summer 2025, with installation managed by SK oceanplant and ProCon Taiwan. This project marks Glamox’s third win in Taiwanese wind energy, following previous contracts for the Hai Long Wind Farm and Greater Changhua projects. Construction of Fengmiao 1 is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
