Governor Hochul and State Officials Unveil Construction of 80-Unit Affordable Housing Project in Broome County

Governor Kathy Hochul announced the groundbreaking of Hooper Road Apartments, a $29 million affordable housing project in Union, Broome County, designed for seniors aged 62 and older. The development will provide 80 energy-efficient homes, including 40 units with on-site supportive services for vulnerable residents, helping them live independently.
