Students from various schools have excelled in competitions, such as Queen’s High School’s Yui Ishikawa, who led her team to a national football finish and re-established the school’s sports council. Mount Aspiring College’s Amaya East celebrated a near-record performance in the 4x400m relay while fostering netball participation among younger students. Trinity Catholic College’s Anamika Jones emphasized inclusivity in sports, encouraging everyone to try new activities. Ben Casey from the same school organized basketball tournaments, promoting respect and support across all skill levels.
