Tuskegee University is set to make history on September 6 by hosting its first-ever home night football game at Cleve L. Abbott Memorial Alumni stadium, facing off against Central State. This significant event fulfills a 99-year-old dream proposed by legendary coach Cleve Abbott, who envisioned lighting the field for night games way back in 1926. Athletic Director Reginald Ruffin emphasized the transformative impact of this moment, aiming to engage fans and elevate the game-day experience. As Tuskegee takes on Central State under the lights, this milestone represents more than just a game; it’s a celebration of legacy, progress, and community pride.
