Introducing the Aputure STORM 400x: A Compact and High-Performance COB LED Light Featuring the BLAIR Light Engine

Aputure has launched the STORM 400x, their latest compact COB LED light featuring the innovative BLAIR light engine, which provides a versatile color temperature range from 2,500K to 10,000K and includes green-magenta tint control. Designed for demanding environments, both the light head and ballast are IP65-rated, ensuring durability. Weighing 3.95 kg, the STORM 400x aims to offer a more accessible option for independent filmmakers, providing high-quality light with a CRI above 95 and impressive output—reaching 27,100 lux at 1 meter. Priced at $1,059, it is now available alongside the CF7 Fresnel lens, enhancing its versatility for various shooting scenarios.
