Audi has unveiled the second-generation Q5 Sportback, a new addition to its lineup that combines the practicality of an SUV with a sleek, coupé-like design. Set to hit the market in mid-January, the Q5 Sportback will be priced starting at £52,450, which is £2,500 more than the standard Q5 SUV, and can reach up to £76,900 for the SQ5 Sportback variant. The vehicle boasts a versatile boot space of up to 515 litres, or 1,415 litres with rear seats folded down. It features a range of new-generation mild hybrid engines, including a 2.0 TFSI petrol and a 2.0 TDI diesel, both delivering 204hp, with the SQ5 Sportback equipped with a 3.0 TFSI V6 engine producing 367hp. The Q5 Sportback offers various trim levels, including Sport, S line, and Edition 1, and incorporates advanced technology such as a 14.5-inch touchscreen display and optional Matrix LED lighting. First customer deliveries are anticipated to begin in May 2025.
