Lafayette College in Easton is collaborating with Canadian firm Sollum Technologies to explore the impact of advanced dynamic LED lighting on agriculture. Led by Professor Robert Elliott, the research aims to optimize growing conditions for various crops through customizable light recipes and precise environmental controls. The facility features 12 independent cells designed to emulate diverse agricultural conditions while monitoring factors such as temperature, humidity, and COâ‚‚ levels.
