This issue arose after local residents complained about the brightness and noise pollution from the hotel, notably affecting the tranquil environment around Paradox Bay. At a recent board meeting, long-time residents expressed frustration, highlighting the disruptive impact these changes have on their quality of life and local wildlife, including nesting loons. Hotel management attributed the unapproved installations to supply chain issues, leading to modified plans that have not yet been formally approved.
