Leading Greenhouse Propagation Facility Transitioning to LED Technology

Vreugdenhil Young Plants and Klugt Quality Plants are transitioning their greenhouse at Irisweg in Bleiswijk from SON-T to LED lighting, marking a significant shift in their operations. The facility will soon be fully operational on LED, utilizing the latest Philips GreenPower toplighting force 2.1 fixtures and the Philips GrowWise control system for centralized management. This move, affecting 45 hectares across their extensive 60-hectare greenhouse network, aims to address rising energy costs and leverage advances in LED technology. The project is supported by Stolze Installatietechniek for electrical installations and LED consultancy from Orance, underscoring the collaboration that has existed between the two companies since 2011.
