Heliospectra AB has announced a significant order from its Italian reseller, Ageon S.r.l., for the leading tomato producer Gandini Antonio S.S. in northern Italy, valued at $99,000. This investment aims to enhance plant quality and increase yield through the use of Heliospectra’s new E50 series LED lighting solution, a high-voltage, 500 Watt system designed for controlled environment agriculture. The adoption of this advanced technology is expected to reduce energy costs compared to traditional high-pressure sodium lights. This installation marks the first E50 series deployment in Europe, with delivery scheduled for early Q4 2023, reflecting Heliospectra’s growing presence in the commercial food production sector.
