LED Lighting Institute Takes to the Road in North Carolina

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lighting Research Center (LRC) is expanding its outreach education by introducing a two-day LED Lighting Institute program at various sponsor locations, alongside its traditional seminars. The inaugural event will take place on March 17-18, 2009, at Cree Corporate Headquarters in Durham, North Carolina. This program targets lighting fixture designers, manufacturers, and professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge of LED technology through hands-on workshops and classroom sessions. Participants will learn to evaluate and compare LED systems, focusing on essential components and performance measurement. Upon completion, attendees will earn continuing education units and a certificate in LED lighting technology, supported by notable sponsors, including the Alliance for Solid-State Illumination Systems and Technologies (ASSIST).
