A recent effort in Leicester has successfully created a spectacular ice rink featuring 20,000 buried LED lights that can change colors and flash, enhancing the skating experience. The rink was constructed by gradually spraying 40,000 liters of water and using 8,000 liters of heat transfer fluid to achieve a surface temperature of -3°C. Mr. Davies highlighted the complexities involved in building the rink, including the challenges posed by humid weather conditions that can impact freezing. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 until January 5, the rink will offer a festive activity for visitors, except on Christmas Day.
