Lighting Installation Finished at Tatura Park Western Oval in Greater Shepparton

The Greater Shepparton City Council has successfully completed the Tatura Park Western Oval Lighting Project, a significant $289,200 investment aimed at enhancing participation and accessibility within the community. Awarded to DeAraugo and Lea Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd, the project involved installing four 30-metre poles with advanced LED lighting, improving training conditions for local sports teams, including the Tatura football Netball Club. Funded by the Victorian Government and the Council, the upgrade transforms the oval into a multipurpose facility that will support a variety of activities and attract major events, ultimately boosting health and economic opportunities for residents. Club President Quinton Langlands praised the improvements, highlighting their potential to enable night matches and broaden sports engagement for all community members.
