Local Rotary Club Supports District Music Programs with .5K Donation

On July 8, the Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club made a significant contribution to the Edmonds School District’s music program by donating $10,500. This longstanding partnership has supported the annual Edmonds Jazz Connection, a community music festival showcasing student talent from local middle and high schools. In addition to this donation, the school board approved a $4 million contract with North Coast Electric for new LED lighting at Edmonds-Woodway High School and unanimously adopted the 2025-2026 budget, projecting a surplus of approximately $2.6 million by the end of the period. The board’s next meeting is scheduled for August 19 at the Educational Services Center.
