On December 2, Marshall Medical Centers heralded the start of the Christmas season with simultaneous tree lighting ceremonies across its three campuses, featuring festive elements such as fireworks, snowfall, and a special appearance by Santa. This year marked a new tradition initiated alongside affiliates of the Huntsville Hospital Health System to illuminate north Alabama. Each campus displayed a 33-foot flagpole tree adorned with 8,000 LED lights, while Boaz celebrated with booming fireworks, and a snow machine created a winter wonderland at the mid-campus location. The festivities included caroling performed by HOSA students from local high schools, and attendees enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies as they mingled with Santa.
